SCHOOL DESIGN

DESIGN & LAUNCH

INNOVATIVE SCHOOL MODELS

SUMMARY.  9-12 month bootcamp guides cohorts of up to 8 school "design teams" through a sequence of professional development and design activities. 

OUTCOMES.  Each school:

1.  Designs, launches and refines a practice "prototype"​

2.  Develops a school-wide PL instructional model

3.  Creates a 1-2 year operational plan to implement it

DISTRICT ECOSYSTEM

REDESIGN DISTRICT FUNCTIONS TO ACCELERATE INNOVATION

SUMMARY.  6-9 month consulting engagement helps district administrators redesign and align key functions.

OUTCOMES.  The district central office:

1.  Develops an overarching strategy for scaling innovative school models

2.  Redesigns the functions of key district departments to align with the school model and scaling strategy.

IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT

 SCALE & SUSTAIN CHANGE

SUMMARY.  9-month coaching relationship with school-site leads and teachers, including remote consultation, observation visits, and targeted workshops

OUTCOMES.  Each school:

1.  Accelerates adoption of their PL model

2.  Ensures implementation fidelity

3.  Continuously improves their PL models through cycles of iteration.
